Dié eenmanstuk is gegrond op Leon van Nierop se blitsverkopers, Plesierengel en Katelknaap. Tristan het in ’n streng en liefdelose huis grootgeword, en tragiese omstandighede dwing hom om ’n sekswerker te word. Hy laat vroue swymel en gou word hy die gewildste en hoogsbetaalde gigolo in Suid-Afrika. Vir Tristan gaan dit egter nie net om seks nie – vir hom is dit belangriker om waarlik lief gehê te word. Gegrond op ware gebeure.

Ruan Wessel wat as jong akteur in onder andere Binnelanders en die rolprente Jou Romeo en Hoofmeisie voor die oë van Suid afrikaners groot geword het vertolk die titelrol in die nuwe eenmanvertoning. 

'Dinge word uit n' ander oogpunt as die romans gesien.'  'Die produksie is nie eksplisiet nie, howel die toneel die stuk erotiesie tonele bevat.

90 minute act just can't work with 53 year old bladders lol! A break should be written in. They're essential on so many levels, not least for the bar sales! ;D . I "knyped" as long as I could and then missed the last 5 minutes :| Up till then, fixated. He did an excellent job and kept me engaged. But I missed the end! lol! WApp flyers, targeted, genius!

Great show just a pity that the venue did not adhere to the timing. Disrespect towards the artist.

What an exceptionally good and difficult play to put on. Very well scripted (beautiful visceral language), sensitively acted, timing, lighting and sound brilliant. Well done Ruan! Hard to watch but also funny at times. Heart breaking too
