This highly-acclaimed rock show, with its multiple sold-out performances and rave reviews, features all the big hits, like Another One Bites The Dust, The Show Must Go On, Who Wants to live Forever and One Vision, to mention but a few of the iconic Queen songs audiences want to hear.
Get ready for an old school Queen experience with all the flaming hot Brian May guitar hooks, featuring Ian Smit on lead guitar, as well as all the music, moves and trademark vocal harmonies of The Family Band, and a rock star frontman, Dewald Louw (winner of Afrikaans Idols 2006), who with his stellar vocals, brings the house down every time!
excellent stuff...
The band was outstanding. It was wonderful to see and hear. The music was fantastic as was the sound and lighting. They deserve 10 stars. We have to have them back again. Well done. Really enjoyed the evening as did the Full House....
A great show! I was quite hoarse after the show from singing along to the songs. Well done!
This show was brilliant, absolutely brilliant, we loved it.
I thought the show was really good. I saw no empty seats, so presume it was a sell out. Rightly so ! It was great to see the band was enjoying themselves too. Would love to see them back soon, even doing some other tribute.!
What a show! Thank you!
excellent
Fantastic. Better than expected. Vibrant, passionate and totally uplifting. Thank you.
Great fun
It was beyond exceptional!! We need more performances like this. My husband and I had a wonderful time.. We are looking forward to seeing you again soon. All the best, Joan
Absolutely TOP CLASS. we had a superb time thank you
We just found that the music was a bit too loud for the small theatre, think because it was a band maybe. We could not hear the words. We enjoyed the Elton John show more wasn't so overbearing. Otherwise very good
Absolutely amazing experience. The Family Band are phenomenal and super talented. Staff at Drama Factory always go the extra mile
Great. And was loud but not too loud as venue is sometimes
Only the very loudness prevented a 5-star rating

As always a great and entertaining experience!! Thank you.
Well tried, but with a few exceptions, the family band did not do it for me. Looking for Love and Bohemian Rhapsody great, but the rest not very exciting, even though the soloist was competent. Please rethink choreography, very amateurish. Stage also crowded, too many members.
Fabulous show.
Fabulous show.
All we ageing Rockers had a good time.
All the musicians on stage were very talented and put on a first class performance, but they were undermined by the dreadful sound. With sound at that volume it would have been better staged in a rugby stadium. It was distorted and at times seemed to change the notes so that they sounded off-key. Acting on previous experiences, I wore earplugs for part of the show, but they were too effective. My best option was to partially close my ears with my fingers and then each instrument and each voice was clear and musical. Do the musicians bring their own amplifiers or does the Drama Factory provide them? Is the person in charge of the sound able to adjust the volume? Some other musical shows I've seen at the Drama Factory have had distorted sound, but you are not the only venue; other small places also seem to have problems. I have spent 65 years attending or participating in, live music events from Rock 'n' Roll, to Opera at Covent Garden, so I have experienced amplified sound in all its forms. Apart from all that rant, Bravo to the musicians. They put their hearts and souls into the show. Sally Perry

Absolutely outstanding, a polished performance, the standing ovation was well-deserved for every member of the group! One tiny gripe - please ask the lead singer to pull his trousers up in the first half !! The baggy crutch looked a bit township.
