Drama Factory favourite Grace Newton of Old Town Band & Miss Honey is back…and she is bringing friends!!! Six fantastic local musicians teaming up for a one night only showcase of their favourite songs! A combinations of popular favourites (Walking On Sunshine, Proud Mary), Love Ballads (Jolene) as well as a smattering of original numbers. Beautiful foot tapping musical fun for the whole family. Based on her original showcase which saw the birth of The Drama Factory we are thrilled to see her back on our stage with a cracking line up of local Helderberg musicians.
Grace Newton – Vocals and Guitar
Tim Rankin – Drums
Angie Mitchell – Vocals
Guy Feldman – Rhythm Guitar & Vocals
Suki Antonia – Violin & Vocals
Eric Newton – Bass
Great but a bit short. How can we get the slightly cheaper tickets as we do belong to the U3A Cathy Hannay
We so enjoyed the whole show looking forward to the next one! You are all so talented and looked as though you were really enjoying yourselves too! A great atmosphere.,...thank you
The Lead Guitarist was totally stunning. I felt the group should allow him to expose his talents far more than they do. Sultans of Swing showed us his stunning ability - The dark haired lovely (Scottish ??) who sang and also works there has a strong deep rich voice - Lovely. Because the old man Bass player is not demonstrative - it does not take away his ability of excellence ... Sorry but that is my opinion as a previous Rock Group Player
It was a fun show and interesting to have a Dad and Daughter on the stage combining so well with the guitarist, drummer and the young violinist. Angie, of course, was her usual ball of fire!
Grace Newton has a phenomanal voice. Maybe include a little story/ history into the show.
