Nik Rabinowitz returns to the Drama Factory for the first time in six hundred and eleventy sixty six days with his imitable brand of lockdown flavoured comedy.
Renowned SA comic Nik Rabinowitz ponders some of life’s big questions; like at what age is it ok to get your first skateboard (surprise, it’s not at 42), how to survive an apocalypse, and what you can find out from a DNA test (spoiler alert: A LOT).
"Hilarious, existential, warm, wise and a tonic in these insane times.” - Nadia Davids
"One of the best sets by a South African comic in the last four or five years" - Bruce Dennill
Brilliant!!
Love Nik but he's undermining the audience with much repetition from previous performances.
A show desperately trying to deliberately impress with a few bits of foreign language and riddled with the F word to try and upgrade mediocracy....
Superb 😀
As awesome as ever. We all enjoyed the show.
A great evening with lots of much needed laughter!
His 90 minutes non stop was impressive but we have attended his shows for many years and in this show there was a lot of repeat content. Some of the content was not that funny, a bit below the belt & the occasional "fuck" doesn't bother me at all but last night was over the top. I booked 10 tickets and all 5 couples feel the same.

Very very good. Such talent.
Mindboggling
excellent entertainment
Fantastic!!!!!!!!
A good laugh, thank you! 5 stars
Nik was excellent, although the mic was far too loud most of the time. I was, however, very concerned that so little effort was made to ensure compliance with COVID protocols - especially since we are officially in a 3rd wave of the pandemic. A request to people merely to comply with the protocols was simply insufficient. Specifically, do not make assurances that "masks are to be worn" when you have no intention of following up. I would estimate, very generously, that fewer than 30% of the audience wore their masks at any time, and the group of people in the row in front of us totally failed to respect the seating distance by moving their chairs into a cluster, right in front of us, well within the already inadequate 1 metre distance. When I asked the question "are you actually going to request compliance with mask-wearing" to someone I thought was part of management (she was in the sound/lighting box, talking to the tech) she effectively said that "not if they're our friends"! I was very disappointed we had literally - as Nik joked - risked our lives for stand-up comedy under such lax conditions.
